Nepal

Nepal is a multiethnic nation with rich traditions. It is home to Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain peak and a major tourist attraction. In the spring of 2015 Nepal was devastated by a series of powerful earthquakes. Thousands of people were killed and hundreds of thousands of people were displaced. The first few days after the earthquakes, Nepal was front and center on our American news networks, but as time has passed many Americans have forgotten about Nepal and the significant need. The Nepali people are still dealing with the effects of the quakes, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

We have partnered with a network of local churches in the Kathmandu region to serve the people living in that region. Many of the people living there are in need of assistance in cleaning and clearing buildings, and many Christians need of encouragement and support. This is a great ministry opportunity for your team.
